Main duties

Purpose of the role:

We’re looking for a confident, experience and reliable all-round Facilities Coordinator with a good understanding of the requirements of a large buildings’ general maintenance.

As a SHEF Coordinator you will play a vital role in creating a positive culture and responsible for managing all facilities related safety, health, environment systems, ensuring the site is compliant all legislation and regulation.

You will be supporting the Head of SHEQ and Head of Departments by effectively coordinating the development of our health, safety, environment, and quality procedures. To oversee and support the Loading Bay Division team, ensuring that everyone contributes to the successful delivery of each project.

Responsibilities & duties

  • To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the daily tasks of the office team alongside the Senior Project Administrator
  • Supporting the coordinators and ensuring that jobs are ready to go
  • Supporting the live jobs once scheduled

Automatic Gate and Barrier Engineer

National Coverage – Based From Home

You will be fully experienced Gate and Barrier engineer who can apply your knowledge to the installation maintenance and servicing of a wide range of systems located nationwide.

Skills:

  • Proven experience working on gates and barriers within a commercial environment
  • Strong electrical abilities
  • Fully conversant in latest regulations
  • Willing to travel nationally as required, and happy to stay away from home overnight
  • Full drivers licence
  • Additional experience in Industrial Doors and Loading Bays would be advantageous, but is    not essential

The role:

You will visit client’s premises in relation to the installation of a variety of commercial and industrial automatic doors and loading bay equipment as well as automated yard gates. You will also be required to be on call on a rota basis.

Applicants applying for the role of Multiskilled Engineer will require the following skillset:

  • Experience within the Industrial Loading bay field is essential
  • Proven Electro-Mechanical Field Service Engineering background
  • Strong Customer facing skills
  • Sound geographical knowledge
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home, as necessary
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure and solve problems
  • Full UK Drivers Licence (essential)
