Providing a seal between the trailer and loading dock door
Foam Dock Pads are by far one of the most cost effective ways of sealing the vehicle rear to the loading bay. The seal is created when the vehicle backs up to the pads which compress until the vehicle makes contact with the bumpers. To ensure the loading bay is sufficiently sealed the pads must be closely matched to the vehicle width and height.
Our Foam Dock Seals are designed bespoke to your requirements and are manufactured with either a timber or galvanised steel backing board to which high density fire retardant polyurethane foam is adhered to. Each pad is covered with a hard wearing PVC coated polyester fabric. Armoured cleats are also added to prolong the life of the dock seals where the pads are being worn.
