Unique to the OktaBlock is its octagonal base with its jagged edge. This design allows for the base to tilt forward if a vehicle were to collide with the bollard. By doing this the base plate and the prongs wedge between the vehicle and the road causing the vehicle to come to an immediate standstill, making it incapable of moving forward even just a few metres. No matter what angle the vehicle collides with the bollard, its geometry will provent any further collisions. This makes the OktaBlock an ideal vehicle blocker for high profile and major events and buildings that may be of a high-risk.
